so, work’s been just about the same, but on our most recent launch, i’ve been writing for heidi! not content, literally writing for her-it’s my handwriting tweaked to match her signature. kinda fun! check out the store, your mailbox, major tv networks or online when you can in the next couple weeks and see if you can spot what i’ve been up to. it’s in the windows and all! ask jenn g., she’s seen it up close and personal

meghan did the design and all the work on the direct mail and stuff like that. i can’t pitch the bra because i haven’t tried it. but, support the economy while you support yourself…go out and buy a new bra!!!

So, I was reading LeMar’s blog- gmyh.blogspot.com and his most recent post is about first names. So on that topic….

I have to give Carly credit for this one, and some of you readers out there may have heard this story… Apparently Carly, (or Carly’s friend) I think has a little girl in her classroom named L-ea. Ok, doesn’t look so bad, but how do you pronounce it? I’ll give you a sec…

You said Leah, or Lee, right? WRONG. Pronounce the hyphen, what do you get? Phonetically: le dashe (long a) a. Seriously. Thanks Carly, it’s still hysterical. So, for all you new parents out there who can’t come up with a name, just consult your keyboard!

Life as a walk-on on the basketball team has never been more glamorous. Mark is not only hilarious, he also was a part of what will go down as the greatest AAU team in history (Greg Oden, Mike Conley, Daquan Cook, Josh McRoberts, Eric Gordon, and oh yeah, Mark Titus). Seriously, how did that team ever lose a game?

emily and jeff wedding weekend part I

ok, here’s the first installment of a couple of posts. i will attempt and upload albums at some point too so everyone can order prints, etc. from kodak. i’ll have to do some editing considering i filled an entire card!

here are some photos from rehearsal night. i really love the ones of all the guys outside of alter h.s. it was tough to get a good shot inside the chapel so we’ll call those “artistic”.

here are a couple from rehearsal dinner at spaghetti warehouse. the boys definitely out-number the girls in case anyone was wondering.

i miss summer already

here are a couple fun things from summer. our friend joel was in his first tour de grandview. and emma’s birthday party included an old favorite, the slip and slide!

eric and emma were the bravest of course. jacob preferred to walk down the slide, alex watched from the sidelines, and josh just tried to not get run over-although he did get pretty wet!

um, i don’t get it

apparently Pepsi is redoing it’s branding and it’s whole line of packaging. some of you may have been reading the updates via Brand New. Is it me, or is it weird? Maybe I’m just not getting their smile theory with the white areas on the logo. i’ll always be a Diet Coke girl, but whatever. Marc, isn’t Tropicana part of Pepsi Co? What’s the take on this story over there? Will Tropicana get a smiley orange someday…

An address I remember fondly. It’s featured on UDQ this week for the “my old house series”. I lived in it senior year with the other girls: Jen, Jill, Jess, Laura (for part of the year) and Sarah. I shared my room with Jen in the front, so the front two windows on the second floor were ours. It was right across the street from the Deli and just down the street from BW3s and Tim’s. Oh, and not too far from classes

There isn’t a tree out front anymore, but it’s still all white. They got a new bathroom this year! We definitely could have used that instead of the cave of tile we had. And, it looks like there are guys living there now. They apparently aren’t utilizing the dining room closet as a make-up room. But, they still have a washer and dryer in the kitchen. We had 2 sets. I wonder if they ever spend the night in the “making a family room”???

So many fun and hilarious memories. Can we go back to college? I can’t believe it’s almost been 9 years since we graduated…ugh!
